Reiki , the universal life force energy, has its roots in Japan, developed by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive, and deeply intuitive practice. It has since gained popularity worldwide as a gentle yet effective healing modality. Reiki stimulates the body's natural healing processes on a cellular level.
Reiki is now offered in many Children's hospitals, Hospital Emergency Rooms, Pre-Op, Operating rooms, Post Op, Oncology, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Internal Medicine, and Palliative Care in more than 900 hospitals globally as Reiki is seen as a complementary therapy to support holistic health and wellness due to the benefits that Reiki provides to the patients.
Reiki does not diagnose or treat medical conditions, nor does it replace medical care. Instead, it works alongside conventional approaches by supporting relaxation, resilience, and overall well-being—key foundations for long-term health.
Reiki is intelligent and inherently knows where it is needed most within the recipient's body. The Reiki practitioner acts as a conduit for the Reiki energy to flow and activates recipient's own energy field to help them heal. Its important to note that Reiki energy does not come from the practitioner or mix with their personal energy.
You can often tell Reiki is working because it helps shift the nervous system from a sympathetic state (fight-or-flight) into a parasympathetic, relaxed state. This calming response can lower stress hormones, slow the heart rate, and promote mental clarity. When the body is no longer in survival mode, its natural healing mechanisms function more efficiently.
This deep relaxation can create a sense of ease, and some people also notice a gentle shift in perspective as emotional or energetic blocks begin to release. It doesn’t conflict with medical care but may complement it, helping individuals feel more centered, calm, and resilient.
The sessions are intentionally simple, allowing the body to settle naturally without effort, instruction, or structured practice—making it an accessible alternative to meditation for those who find traditional mindfulness techniques challenging.

I am a certified Usui Reiki Master trained in Holy Fire® and Crystal Reiki, with experience offering Reiki to a wide range of clients and volunteering in hospitals and hospices.
My volunteer work offering Reiki to patients in local hospitals deepened my trust in the body’s natural ability to heal when supported with the right environment, energy, and intention.
After a few close family members were affected by serious illness, I began exploring the science of stress, healing, and the mind–body connection. With an engineering background, I approached energy-based therapies with curiosity paired with healthy skepticism, relying on structure, logic, and firsthand experience before trusting the results.
I began as a client, studied under multiple teachers, and over five years of formal training became a certified Reiki Master. What stood out was not theory, but consistent outcomes—deep relaxation, nervous system regulation, improved focus, measurable reduction in stress and quicker recoveries from surgeries for myself and those close to me.
Reiki has supported me through stress, a demanding corporate career, while juggling family responsibilities. Its gentle influence has quietly transformed my life, and I’m grateful to share this healing practice with others.
1. Before Your Session
We’ll have a brief conversation about how you’re feeling , any areas you’d like to focus on and set an intention for the session.
You’ll remain fully clothed and lie comfortably on a massage table.
2. During Your Session
I will gently place my hands a few inches above or lightly on specific areas of your body.
There is no guided visualization, breath work, or physical manipulation involved.
There is nothing you need to do during the session—simply rest and receive and allow the process to work.
Many people feel warmth, tingling, or a deep sense of calm.
Dozing off is completely normal and can actually help deepen the healing process.
3. After Your Session
Reiki moves the energy around in the body. You may feel lighter, more balanced, and clearer right away. If you are sensitive to energy work, take a few minutes to walk on grass to help ground the energy after your session. Drink extra water afterward to help your body process and move the energy more effectively. Feel free to journal, as it can help process stuck emotions or energetic blocks and bring greater clarity.
Remember: Every session is unique—your body and mind will receive exactly what they need in that moment. The effects of Reiki can continue to unfold over the next few days—sometimes even a week—helping you feel more “unstuck,” easing lingering pain or tension, and bringing greater emotional clarity. Many clients notice improved sleep, more energy, or a fresh perspective on challenges they were facing. Trust that Reiki works, even if you didn't feel anything through the sessions.
My personal recommendation is to sign up for 3 sessions to feel the full benefits of Reiki. Package deals available !
